The first photo shown above is us on our first “trip” together. A day trip to beautiful Yosemite with family. Still so uncertain, and simply learning about each other.

Only a few months earlier, is when we first met each other… at a high school house party, how romantic!

Lol, but honestly, something that started out so ordinary somehow turned into something so beautiful. Through all of the noise of being a teen, we slowed down at just the right time, for just long enough, to truly listen, and that's when God led us to each other.

We became close instantly, almost without trying. What started as a friendship that felt easy from the beginning, turned slowly into us realizing how much we just got each other. A couple of months later, it wasn’t really a question anymore—we just knew we could not live life without one another.

Over the last six and a half years, we’ve grown up together in all the ways that matter. We’ve faced our share of challenges, done long distance, and overall had moments that could have pulled us apart, but instead, they pulled us closer. We’ve learned how to show up for each other, even when things weren’t easy, and how to keep choosing us through it all.

Our love story is built on a kind of love that only gets stronger with time. We cannot wait to continue showing up for each other through whatever God has planned.
